Awesome.

What changes have they made for 2013?

I can see in your photo that they still have the same fork compression adjusters as the 2012 model.

Black tripleclamps. Are they stock for 2013? Do you know if they are still adjustable? Do you know what offset they are?

I don't think there's any changes from the 12's. Any suggestions on suspension

The suspension on the 690 is better suited to riding on a smooth road than on the rough dirt.

The first place you should pay attention to is the rear spring. Like most KTM's, it is undersprung on the rear, so you should look at a heavier spring to balance the bike.

While we are on the shock, there are some changes to be made to make the shock plusher on the smaller hits and add some rebound control for the heavier spring.

Up the front end a revalve is in order to get it plusher when riding offroad. Some of the biggest gains are had by revalving the rebound stack in the forks to allow the front wheel to follow the ground better and provide more front end grip.

I'm still interested, but the only complaint I have so far is suspension in the rear seems a bit stiff on corregated downhill braking, even on comfort setting

Wow looking at this stuff has just made me realise I adjusted the rear high and low speed compression back to comfort, but I didn't adjust the damping back to comfort on the rear

hey mate
I broke that same stand you have the other day lifting my 690 , all the mods has pushed it way over the weight the stand will take.

Hey mickd bought a kdx 200 so when I come back from barrington tops ride might come out to glasshouse with you and see how it goes

Anyone know if the OP still posts here, wouldn't mind his feedback on the 690
