Post Re: Back on the bench BUGGER
Hi All,

Just thought I'd let you know my L4-L5, L5-S1 TLIF surgery went well.

Pain in legs gone and able to move toes upwards straight after surgery day 1.

Walking with a walker day 2 then on my own day 3 and up and down steps on
day 4.

Only ended up having a 4 day hospital stay instead of 7 so a positive sign to me.

Progressing each day with walking, still a lot of pain where I was cut open.

So 5 months and 2 weeks before I'm back on the bike.(I'm not counting down lol)

Thank you all for well wishes before surgery.

Cheers
Leanne

Thats GREAT News leanne :wav

pain and suffering up front re surgery in these cases "Can" lead to a much quicker and better out come. Note the can.

I bet you will be back on the bike quicker that me.

Oh and my issues with the dreaded WC are improving. new case manager and a surgery date of april 20 :wav :wav Bloody yay.

Take it easy Leanne (Hope you have pay TV) if you need some entertainment Im sure we can help (I have a few gigs of TV around here somewhere...)

Hi Simon,

Good to hear you have a new case manager.

What is the operation you are having on the 20th April ?

Hope it goes well.

WC has not come on board yet for me, it would be nice, we'll see what happens.

Good luck for the 20th.

Cheers
Leanne
