I didn't realise they have a motard track, I'll have to get out there. I have axle sliders, but no peg sliders yet. Probably need to tie-wire stuff and add a catch can too?

The following rules apply to all Motard bike classes:
All bikes must comply with these guidelines at all times.
*Overflow bottles for oil, carburetor and cooling system must be fitted (must have)
*All bikes must comply to the 90db noise limit.
*Handlebars must have ends plugged or have bark busters with adequate nylon/plastic covering
*Footpeg, front and rear axle sliders must be fitted

Protective Gear: Helmets must have an Australian approval rating of AS1698 or FIM approval rating. Helmet must have full face shield or goggles and must be made of a shatter-proof material and be in the closed position when racing.
Suitable protective attire made of durable fabric must cover the body. Suits made of leather or a combination of both leather and fabric with protective armor on shoulders, elbows and knees is ideal.
Back (spine) protectors or built in back protection is optional but a great idea.
Footwear must be closed in with ankle coverage.
Gloves must be made of leather or durable fabric and must be in good shape without holes. Severely damaged or worn gloves are unacceptable.

Post Re: lakeside motard
i use to race out there 2 years ago. heaps of fun. use to run the mini tard and the postie bike i have. have been thinking of late to run the postie bike out there a few times this year.

Kim and Glen the people who run small wheel sundays out there are pretty good. you need to comply with noise standreds tho which can be hard with bigger bikes. but do give a bit of leway if that can see you have tried.

def catch can's and float bowl cans, as this was why i lost it into the first corner 2 years ago and ended up with a 3r deg burn on my ass after losing the rear in a fuel/2stroke puddle. not a nice feeling at 100kph!

you's will all love it. motards are taking of out there.

search them on FB small wheel sunday and ask to join the group.

So did you get out there yet Dangles? I've almost got my bike ready, just need to sort the catch can and 90db exhaust.

I'm hoping to make the next meet on the 17th of June.

Kim asked where you were Shane-o, and when your coming out next :)

I had a great time out. Me and my mate Matt really enjoyed our first trackday.

Me on the left, Matt on the right
