1st DNF EVER for one of my Husky,s

Yours must be better than my piece of crap.
At 160ks from new needed stator and rec/regulator +wiring loom
At 200 ks from new fuel pump seal is pissing out fuel.

After 200ks could not tell you as it is still waiting on o ring.

We drove to dads property 2000ks away to ride the bikes and holiday.First ride got back fuel coming out everywhere.Been told cannot get new o ring until next thursday, now we are going home 5 days after we can get the part so waste of time even bringing the husky.I know why it was cheap.
Yes warranty will cover it but ITS A F@@KING new bike.

Should have bought that ha ha.

I was going to Pm you to ask how they went with the wiring harness and Rec-Reg. My 2009 TE250 AKA 310 has never had any problems at all. Not one thing wrong. Maybe my bike was blessed and washed with holy water or something dontknow . If the fuel pump O-ring is leaking, The dealer has pulled it apart for some reason. Why i say this is because ive taken out my fuel pump once (Just to see if the fuel filter was ok) and seen the fuel pump O-ring. Its very thick and would take a lot to break. Have you checked the bolts to see if there tight. They might be to tight.

Sorry to hear that Steve, there are quite a few lemons amongst them. Only problem I've had with my 510 in 3 years is with the spark plug, seems to hold water and arcs out now and then. After riding Erwin's kato 350 last weekend that will be my next bike :D

Yeh ray not impressed, told dealer would not even consider a 450.
It really p@sses me of that a simple O ring can take 10 days to get here from brisbane.
Even after this is fixed i would not feel confidant that it could do a big ride yet (2 rides 2 problems) .
But stuck with the crap heap now.

Yeh lee got the berg,i know as you do that is a reliable bike.Over 18,000 ks and not any problems EVER,that have stopped the bike from continuing(Never even had a flat on the berg).
Dad's is not even 2 ks from some great forest which is why we brought all the bikes down.

cheers mate

Not good, Seems like a long time for a bloody o-ring. They gotta get one over special or something, surely that's the sort of thing you have plenty of in stock. Hopefully you can find one somewhere. Cheer's Lee icon_thumright

Nothing wrong with them. They are a great bike. :wav I never have any trouble with mine icon_scratch , beerfearer hardly ever has trouble with his and he hardly ever rides it icon_thumright , Blur has very little trouble on very little rides :( , and Sunny won't have any trouble at all with his for a couple of years while he is in jail for burning the Husky shop down. violent5
