I have heard that these are the same cops patrolling Logan Pine Forest / Yarrabilba area.
I went out there for a ride a couple of weeks ago, didn't see any though.

There were bikes and 4wd's everywhere too

Couldn't tell ya. I've seen coppas at Logan, they were there on the weekend too, but apparently looking for a stolen car. Pulled my mates over to ask for a hand locating it dontknow icon_scratch

Sporting mountain is a no. Some greeny type people also put screws and things up tracks and wire between trees. That was about 6 mths ago though

Officially no, they put up unfriendly signs that indicated that motorbike riders would recieve a permanent diagonal line through your body if you rode there and they put cameras in the trees.
One idiot neighbor used to threaten riders with his chainsaw revving yelling about the noise and dust then toddle of to his little red ride on and mow lawn for the second time that week. Then get the blower out for Half an hour. Then go and feed the chooks and 2 roosters that used to think sunrise was at 3:15 & 3:30 & 3:40 & 3:55 & 4:12 &............

Most of it is either fenced of along johnson rd because of riders or illegal dumping. Johnson rd and Cobalt st intersection is now under construction for a railway bridge for springfield lakes station, And just about the rest of the tracks are now fenced of, or is now Developed estates.

Fine is $400 for being registered and licensed ! Trust me I know first hand. Logan /Ipswich fines twice as much as any other council in Brisbane. Same fine would be $250 for riding in Mt Cootha, go figure!!

Ranger was on TTR 250, law on drz400, when we got done. Cops don't fine you the rangers do. Cops only with rangers so they don't get beaten up. It is a council offense not road for illegally riding.
Would be a court case if unrego etc.
