It might Shane-O, you should get it going and come out again.

Anyway, I had my first crash on a road surface, was better than crashing on dirt actually!

That corner is a bit of a biatch with the double apex. Its better to take the first apex wider and take the second one closer.

Chasing someone down with slicks aint fun

Yeah, chasing down a slick tyred KTM 525 SMR on a DRZ400 running crappy old Michelin Pilot Road 2 tyres isn't the easiest thing to do!

Yeah I know what your saying, so easy to loose that little bit of grip you thought was still there, lucky you slid of the track instead of down the track like I did through turn one, ended up sliding down the middle of the track will I stopped,

I'll get this Postle sorted and get out to the next one ( maybe) lol

Must admit looks a lot more fun crashing a Motard compared to a sports bike Wes , that little off would of cost you a $1000 bucks minimum :o
As Shane said lucky you got on the grass quick , coz bitumen burns like a bastard when you slide for a while BangHead

When your due for a new set of tyres have a look at the Bridgestone BT003R,s there a road legal proddy tyre , surprisingly cheap ( for a race tyre ) and they seem to warm up quick and give heaps of warning before they let go.
Looks like a good track hello2

The big bikes had a track day on the main track today too. They are completely insane. They go ridiculously fast and there is less run off on the main track than on the little motard track. It would seriously hurt crashing on the main track.

Come motard racing Luni, it's safer and cheaper. $50 a day once you have the license ($55/yr). Way cheaper than the big bike track days.

The thing I like about the motards is the slower speeds, so less painful crashes. I crashed on the fastest corner of the track, but I was still only going about 75kph.

Did a heap of ride days at Lakeside years ago.
Still rate the section of track from the Karassell thru the bus stop down to hungry corner as one of the best feelings you can have on 2 wheels icon_thumright

Just don,t go out with the big bikes coz 160k is about the average speed of a whole lap hello2

Sort of half thinking about taking the Husky out to the Motard track icon_scratch
