I havn't heard anything about it.
Whats the go, is it private or run by the council or government?
There was one planned up our way at burpengary once and it just didn't happen.
I hope this one happens.

There is the 2nd round of the pony express on tomorrow at widget near Gympie. The supp regs and info are on motorcycling Queensland website under events then Calendar .
Usually u team up with a partner and do like tag team. Rider A starts the race, laps are usually 25mins or so, then rider A comes into the change over area and hits their front wheel against rider B's back wheel and rider B is off and u keep doing that until ur 3hrs is up.
Ladies race 3hrs and men do 5hrs. U can do the whole 3hrs iron woman if u want too. It's heaps of fun, def worth giving a go! Let me kno if u want more info.
If I had a hel cam I cud film the loop just to show how the track is, but haven't got one :(

Cheers Naomi

Post Re: Hey Girls, Telll us your dirt bike story
Finally back online, and its been great to read everyone's storys. So i guess its my turn.

1.Where are you from? Born in Beaudesert, moved away to Tassie for 5 years but came home!

2.When did you start riding and what got your interest? I only started riding Feb last year. All the years of watching my partner ride got the better of me and I decided to have a go. Now Im hooked more than he is and drive him nuts about it lol!

3.What bikes have you had? My first bike which i bought last year was a Honda XR250, but upgraded to a new DRZ400 a couple of months ago.

4.How long have you been riding? Wishing now i had started years ago, but just over 12 months

5.What do you enjoy most about riding? The feeling of freedom. Just to be able to jump on and go and never look back. Also, its my form of stress relief.

6.Where do you like riding the most? Always have a ball south of the border, but when it comes to long weekends and camping with mates it would have to be Glendon Station.

7.What scares you the most about dirt bikes? Stumps and bad ruts. If there's a rut i'll find it and usually fill it with a leg or arm. lol

8.Any tips or advice for other ladies looking at getting into dirt bikes? Don't do what i did and stay in the background watching ur partners/brother etc. Get out there and give it ago. U won't be disappointed!

I agree, there are some good reads in here. Come on the rest of you, don't be shy!

OK, There is an RTCB the 1st of May everyone, I will post it up in the organise a ride section. Be good to meet up with a few, I won't be on the bike I don't think by then but be good to catch up with a few.Click on the link

You don't need a rego'd bike, so Kylie this may suit you.
The only draw back is the walking the bike in the car park but it is getting a little cooler now.

I'll be going to that RTCB ride in May also, taking my 16 year old cousin out there.

Donna,
Unfortunately no vids from the weekend gone, gave the cam a break, just an easy ride up at Kenilworth, 70-80k's or so. A little wet, some difficult hills on the red clay but otherwise good times! Some nice sweeping trails and enduro x in the pine forests which are great. Thinking of getting to Tamborine ride if that's still a goer!
