full throttle is a dealer than can sort it out for u

Would use them but about 2000ks away.

Sure they could post you one and you fit it yourself. They are not a big job. Poeple have to take the fuel pump out to replace the fuel filter when serviced.

Full Throttle would have one in stock for sure Steve, icon_thumright

Thanks mate, but the issue is under warranty only an authorised F##king dealer can put it in or warranty void. For a bloody simple O ring.

Wingnut haven't got as far as paul feeney yet but if problems continue thats my next stop or consumer affairs if they don't want to speak to me

Rocket, think you were the smart one mate.

Andrew425 thanks for the offer but as mentioned above need a dealer to fit it.Which means a couple hours drive to get to one.

Just check on that
I,ve got both my Husky,s from Full Throttle ( There the best bike shop i,ve ever dealt with )
But have always done all my own servicing and maintenance
Had a problem with 1 of my radiators ( seam started splitting ) , took the radiator into them, Kurt rang up the warranty bloke , and i had a new 1 a couple of days later no questions asked icon_thumright
I think the dealer has a lot to do with it dontknow

Thats what i put to the husky dealer but apparently no or not covered under warranty.
I agree with you loony full throttle are good to deal with.
Also about the dealer having a lot to do with it.I ripped it up him today about his service (this is the bloke that tried to charge me $380 for first service (took it to nother dealer closer and $190) so we are not on good terms at moment).
But will ring full throttle tommorow and see what they can do for me.

thanks for the advice.

steve.

After some "discussions" with husky dealer took bike to geelong and they pulled the fuel pump out and found.

Metal fillings on o ring seal
Cross threaded bolt on fuel pump
Tank not flat were tank and o ring meet

High quality control on this brand of crap.
Still can't get it going until at least tuesday.

had a te 450 08 model last year and a half. and only trouble seems to be the electrics . first the bike just stopped for no reason then started after 10 anxiouse minutes. took it to currimundi and they put it on their computer thingy remapped it and it was good $120.00. .. second after 12 months a wire had worn through on the thermo fan causing a short 15 mins into a ride , it only affected the fan and instrument cluster so i could live with it . till i decided to bridge fuse then it blew the main fuse on the opposite side of the bike leaving me stranded . didnt even realise there were two fuse panels till i got home , doh.a long push.took it to pro honda excellent service and quick fault find $155.00. now a new problem 1 hour in a miss then complete shutdown. fuel pump works intermittently on turn of the key. starter will not engage at all. started briefly using a method shown by Andrew 435 at beerwah on another husky ( but dies after fuel is expended from prime maybe?) while running the bike has throttle response and all seems normal.1 to 2 mins. after all this i still love the bike and the way it rides heaps of grunt and nimble in the tight stuff hopefully i just have a faulty pump or ignition switch block
