Years ago i had a rm 250 n ( 1978 ) with a battery bolted into it for doin the brakes and lights and it didnt charge
So i had to put a charger on it - yep i hear ya - What was i thinking / pointless / waisted effort -
But years ago in the 80s in NZ we could register an old dirt bike for the road -
i rode it to school for nealrly 2 yrs = Must have been crazy looking back!!!
And now you can buy after market full lighting coils for the 03 - 08 RM250s so they can charge and run lights / indicators
by using a loom off a RMX that virtually connects straight in - but no compliance = No ADR compliance
means no chance of getting a roadworthy so no registration for my 06 rm 300.
Result im stuck with an RMX at 16 yrs old for under 3k pimped and rebuilt.
But Its still a suzuki! :wav
