Post New Brissie Rider
Hi there,

I have just purchased a KTM 450 EXC and am looking for ride out`s around the Brisbane area?

I have not ridden in 2.5 year`s but I am sure it will all come flooding back?! confused2

I saw soem guys with dirt bikes in the Redland Bay area, but did not get the chance to ask them where they had been riding. Is there anywhere to ride in the South Bayside area?

yeh i agree the local Golf club is always a fav, but mt cotton would be a better pick espicially if your mates with one of the green keepers. Welcome to the site Jon icon_thumright

Mount Cotton Rd is only 10 mins from my place, but I am guessing that trail bikes are not welcome? I am always keen to claim ignorance, but not sure if this is a wind up?? dontknow

Heard bikes go along Teviot road yesterday there and back , sounded like three all up one of them was farkin loud and pissing around on the entry road in to the parklands - if it was you guys try the entry more towards Redland bay so you dont piss the local horse owners off, its illegal in there and your just going to fark it up for us locals who have bikes and ride on our own land and not trying to piss anyone off or atrackd undue attention, ride where your allowed so you dont fark it for the rest of us even more

Well said. As Duke mentioned, we canned it following my recky by car, not worth the bad press for trail bikes + we didnt want any fines.

Looking forward to my virgin Beer run on the 13th :D

All good just the fella was friggin around right outside the entrance with a straight throo exhaust
Bikes do go in there but usually entering and exciting in stealth mode ;-]
It won't be there much longer if Mt cotton is anything to go by - They used to whinge about us going in there with our 6inch wide tyres then the next thing D9's come in and its a housing estate
