at least he used locknuts on the bolts holding it to the roof. They'll never come loose.

My first thought was he'd rip his brains out on the bolts, but I guess not.
Looks OK to me. the bracing is adequate.

Would it have been easier to fit roof racks and make the front wheel lock onto the roof racks?
