Ok lets try this another way

Pull ya headlight off and take a pic of the connectors and cable on the left hand (clutch) side of the bike.

i have original tyres for it, good nick, 80% tread karlsbad sticky rear and same front ..will have to change them tomorrow(F##KING HATE CHANGING TYRES !)..
and thanks frank, will do oil tomorrow.. havent ridden since i done airbox/grey wire yzf thingy and yzf exhaust.. should that make a big difference ? dontknow

will also get a new set of plastics and get them blinged up ! icon_biggrin

Looks good Rab. My brothers got an 04 good reliable bike that goes anywhere, ride em up high and they go good. From what I've read, the grey wire/airbox mod makes heaps of difference, I reckon the pipe well too. Go get em'.

All I can say is there will be a two pin plug socket on the left hand side of the headlight.

If the plug has been removed you need to short the output. If the lead is still intact but cut somewhere you need to short the two ends together dont know what colour it is. You can be sure that the 09 450 is a whole lot different than your 06 250.

I will go down and take a photo of mine to give you an idea if ya want.

got it mate ! thanks ! 8-) i had been looking for two black wires severed down there too but obviously it was a plug as you say and for reference, it was a white 2 pin plug, black wire and blue/yellow stripe wire.. bridged with a screw driver and away it went.. sorted ! hello2 i just knew if any hill stalls happened, this would be super useful ! 8-) also done freaks mod from TT with sky blue wire.. dont know what it'll do or if noticable to me as ive never really ridden it but its done anyway..

see you in the morning fanta ? :P
