Hori mate you posted up about the DRZ forks and single track re raising them in the triples.
I have done this by 5mm already If you go an further you will make it shit at speed. Give it a go but be prepared to change them back when you get bad headshake.

Try swapping the front for an S12 michy. It has off set knoBs that help with turn in. Worked well on the Z.

the rears I talked about are dunlop 752 very very good!!!

Lastly be aware that the design of the bike means it will never be fantastic in the twisty stuff. It does everything ok and thats how its designed.

see ya tomorrow!!

cheers Simon...i know plenty of Builders also And MarK400426 has sorted out termite issues..

Yeah i noticed drz forks have already been raised...i just raised them to the point i had the xr as it also was hopeless with full fork extension..

shorting the front will help im sure to control the front bars in twitchy situations...

tyres yes i will put a new front and rear on next week i just want to see this change first..

ya cya tomorrow looking forward to it.

Hey Hori,

My tip would be (I don't know many) do the rear sag first before playing with the front forks. I just did the rear sag on the WR and it makes a world of difference to the bike. I rode it twice on standard settings and was thinking I want my old WR400 back because the front of the 07 is crap. Anyway thats my two cents...

cheers

Thanks for that Frank..i have saved a link on rear sag setup last night...i will start getting it sorted after this ride..weeks break to do tyres carby removal /clean and bit of other stuff like Radiator fans n stuff

i cant believe what i see on new bikes rad fans on riders side of radiator sucking in hot air from the engine trying to cool the motor ..thats bloody stupid..i dont think they realise fans suck air to push air..

im thinking they would be better on the front but risk of damage on a stack...

i think what he means is .... fan sucks hot air from radiator and directs it onto engine ?? so putting hot air onto hot engine rather than cooler air ?? christ knows.... these overclockers are a weird bunch !!
