i have but its very subtle, only advances the ignition in the top half of rev range.

not noticable on dirt but ive found it ups the front wheel easy'er on the black stuff.

Apparently you can see it on the dyno but not feel it so much. you have trust that the extra oomph is there. kinda like an muffler. did it give me more power or does it just sound fast

Would the 00' WR 400's have this grey wire? and is it worth it or the same as above.

Hey Hayden yep all models have it wr 400 426 450 , i done it on the 03 wr450 and couldn't notice it,the yanks swear buy it but they have pretty strict pollution laws,i heard somewhere that we in Australia don't have to worry as our bikes already come with proper ignition curve and America don't, but if i had a wr 400 i would be setting up the cam timing to yz mod and hang on.best bit its free.

Exhilarating to ride with the YZ timing (it makes a huge difference to the power), but the WR timing is much better for trail riding!

If you want to try the gray wire just put a on/off switch on the handle bars and run the wire up to it
If you dont like it on turn it off
