Post Pony Express series allows trail riders to compete for a day
New rules and changes for 2012 allow for anyone to compete with out the need of a National licence or high cost ......finally.

From this year you can (just like dalby trail rides)obtain a day licence to be part of the action with little cost or outlay.

Generally for the ponies...2 men per team, alternate 1 lap each for 5 hours, usally 20-25 mins long per lap and each rider should get 6 laps plus the sight lap at 9am.

If you always thought about it and want to ride awsome loops but always to difficult to get a licence, now everyone have it all to easy.About time too!
There is no presure to perform as your on your own all day and no body will even look at you.Classes cater for all ages/ juniors, opens -o 35s,o 45s and ladies( so Loony, you can join in also) :)

All the imformation here;
http://www.mqld.org.au/index.php?id=1759

Round one in Feb 19th being only 30 mins from Beenleigh

Yep the one day licence are a great idea. I wouldn't say cheap but:

$90 entry
$44 day licence and
For the first round if not a member of one of the stated clubs must join up so about $30

TOTAL $164

In saying all that I'm keen and if you can only manage to do a few races for the year its better than forking out the 250 odd for the national licence

Good work Erwin.
Been thinking of doing it for a bit of fun. Pity my possible team mate now in the army. :cussing
I would be cannon fodder for good riders, but hey you have to start somewhere.

Over 55's - Hey Wayne you can race if the retirement home will let you out for the weekend. violent5

That adds up to a lot of coin for a days ride when I can go to Kenilworth or Ammamore for free...
