Post so frustrating!
I returned from my holidays on thursday the 5th of january. I had promised myself I would go riding that weekend. But when I got back I had too much to do. "next weekend" I said.

So last weekend rolls up a bit quicker than I thought and I realized I still hadn't done my rear brakes which are about 2km away from self destructing. So I raced out saturday morning and bought some pads. Came home and realized they were the wrong ones, by this time the bike shop was closed. "ah well, next weekend I suppose".

By this stage I was a little annoyed and very determined that I was going riding this weekend. Then tuesday night I take a bit of a dive and hear a loud "rip" noise from my lower back and felt a very sharp pain all the way down my leg. "this is not good" I said to myself. Sure enough, I have done muscular damage that has not only seen me out of action this weekend, but at the rate its healing (very slowly), I'm not too sure I'll be right next weekend either.

Now lately I have found myself mindlessly trolling the internet looking at new bikes, watching dirtbike videos, researching dirtbike magazines, and checking TRA for new posts every 32 seconds. I think to myself "why am I doing this?". I don't need a new bike at the moment, watching videos and reading mags isnt going to make me a better rider, and relentlessly checking TRA isn't gonna put me out there on the trails with you guys. The long story short is, the dirtbike bug has bit me and its...

Saff that sharp pain down your leg... the one that followed the Rip from your back.

That is similar to what I felt heard when I picked up a UPS that was 40KS instead of 5 kgs (there were two one had no batteries and I thought I was moving the light one)

Hope the pain has gone away and you havent got Sciatica. cause that sucks just a bit...

well a lot in fact

Now I have "degenerative Disc disease" caused (or not depending on who you listen to) by the surgery.

So as Ray said GET OUT THERE are Ride mate.

when you cant you cant.

Thats a good point Mr Hori
super crap quite often will have most brake pads but sometimes you will have to visit 2 or 3 stores to get back and front pads if you need em.

they are "OK" but not the best of pads
