Haha yeah yeah was expecting those comments.

Will have to see for myself.
Fully expect it to be crap in the wet, and in mud and clay, and across slippery hills, and downhills, and corners...

But will be all worth it if It helps me up some of those shitty rocky hills and I can perch myself at the top and watch everyone else spinning their tyres trying to get up bootyshake
And if not, at least I have a new excuse for being crap :D

I'll give it a few rides, might have a near new trials tyre for sale real cheap!

I went thru a period of my life where i wasn,t quite sure of my sexuality and tried a trials tyre
However it wasn,t for me.

I even publicly announced it on this forum and did an in depth review of the comparison between a gay and Hetrosexual tyre :o

If i new how to link it to this thread i would BangHead

I,m with Roycey Bridgestone 403 front and 404 rear
Although i have got Pirreli mid softs on the back of both my bikes at the moment and must say for beerburrum they seem pretty good dontknow

Honestly mate for Hill climbing they are bloody brilliant
and even rocky Downhills they are great however on loose downhills they can be terrifying, I found with a knobby tyre if you lock it up they basicaly dig in and create a bow wave sort of effect in front of the tyre so you still slow down somewhat were as with a trials tyre you just skid over the top Basicaly once you lock up a trials tyre your essentialy on a 100 kg tobbogan
And in singletrack i found them terrible dontknow

Lol ya taddy could probs do erzberg on a posty and still beat the rest
Never tried a trials tyre so cannot comment but them top European guys love them
I'll just stick to the nobbys ,but would like to have a go on a bike with them on cus them rocks

If your name Is McCoy and you have about 7psi in your trails tyre then you can get some pretty good side grip
