Do you ride anywhere that you need rego - Beerburrum etc?

Anyways I saw this and thought it might be of interest to you

If you are in Qld and have a bike licence why not buy a rego trail bike and open up a whole lot of places you can ride legally?

Yup, rego is about the same price as a fine.

I'd recommend a rego bike if your only going trails

Thats wright. Vic has Rec Rego. You can regd that type of bike. We dont have that privilege up here in QLD. What sought of money is the owner looking for. They are a good bike, But being a four stroke, oil changes (And lots of them) and regular valve clearance checks and clean air filters is about all they need to keep them going for a long long time.

Sounds like cheap fun. I'd go over there, ride it and if it looks and sounds the goods pull $1700 in 20s and a few 50s (mainly 20s) out and offer him that with some extra hundreds in several of your pockets. As a simple negioating tactic I only go up 1/3 the amount the guy does so if he says nah $2000 - a $300 increase, I'd offer him $1800 saying you probably have another hundred in the ute. If you rock up with cash and a way to take it home and show you are ready to do a deal you may end up with it cheap. Good luck. :)
