How far do you want to be able to ride? What sort of riding are you wanting to do?

Plenty of 300's around getting good mileage. They boys should be able to tell you what they're getting.

Thanks guys, yeah I just wanted to get a bit of feed back on one before I bought one, if poss I would like to join some of you guys up glass house but don't want to run short of fuel before the end!!! Out of these two 300exc or 450 four stroke which would be more suited for glass house? Once again cheers

A 250F is more than enough. :) You'll run out of energy and the will to go on before running out of fuel :) :) :) :)

I thrashed around XR 350/350 and 400s back in the day and after a long time away have got back into it and the WR250F i bought is awesome. Super resilient, easy to service, plenty fast enough whilst still being forgiving when mistakes are made. Super simple to service and maintain too. Just an option for you. Im back home in just under 2 weeks if there is a ride on you would be welcome to take it for a quick spin.

I not long ago bought a 450 4 stroke. A little on the big and heavy side for my unfit / pissweak size.
If I was do it again, I reckon I would go a 300 2 stroke. Either a Berg or a TM.

Just my 2c
