I have a mate coming up from Melbourne can anyone recomend somewhere to hire a dirt bike for the weekend for him?

Xtream i dont think there is such a place in brisbane, just googled it there was one down south somewhere though, Pretty expensive but .

U wanting one for this weekend ??

Aussie motorbike hire @ Noosa, another place @ Rainbow beach.
Don't know of any in Brisbane.

maybe a fellow tra member could loan you a spare bike at a cost

Don't need the bike for a while (end of Sept in fact) but was struggling to find anywhere. Seems ironic that we have the best trails but easier to hire a bike in Melbourne!

I will check out the links and get some prices. Will then share on this page and if anyone else wants to make me an offer then we can talk; maybe away from Mr Taxman!

Had a look at websites and phoned around today basicallay:

CMC at Capalaba (http://www.hirebikes.com.au/?q=taxonomy/term/2) only hire XT225/250 and TTR125/250 dirt bikes at $155 per day{although they do have a PeeWee 50 with taining wheels which, no doubt Hoodlum will think is about right for me!}

ADMo Tours and Rentals at Noosaville (http://www.rental-motorcycle.com/oceani ... ental.html) do minimum 5 days hire of DR400@ $180 per day

Aussiebiker at Noosaville (http://www.aussiebiker.com.au/the_bikes.php) do DR400 for $200 per day. They are also open 4.30-5pm on Sunday so you can return return the bike and not have to pat for an extra day. I spoke to a nice guy there, Dave, who said he may even be able to doa deal for an earlier pick up on the Friday.

So all in all to get a DR400 from Friday lunch time to Sunday lunch will cost me about $530 (inc excess reduction). if anyone knows of a better deal please let me know
