Post Best place to get a Safety Certificate??
Hey All,

I'm pretty new to the forum. I just bought RakinRay's WR 450 and need to get a Safety Certificate for the bike. Can anyone recommend a good place to take the bike? Or are there any guys who will come look at the bike for me in Red Hill? Any places open on weekends?

Looking forward to seeing you guys out on the trail after I get the paperwork done!

Cheers,

Lukas

Make sure they are through.I bought my 2003 wr450f september last year, current safety cert was supplied upon sale.I took to m/cycle store stright up for a full going over to be sure, and it needed new wheel bearings.
Place that guy i bought from, the shop mustve turned wheel and thought 'yep, good enough'.

Hah! Reminds me about my maye who had a Ducati 1098S who needed a roadworthy to change rego from another state to Qld , took the bike to a shop for a warranty issue , no probs got that done and as the bike only had about 2500kays on it asked to get RWC done - shop says yeah no probs but we have to have the standard mufflers , mate says yeah got them there in plastic wrappers from the Termignoni that are on the bike (dealer he bought the bike from put 'em on no charge). Bike shop says yeah bring them in we need to put them back on the bike for RWC and then we can take them off for you and put the Termignonis on , mate says yeah so how much for the RWC then ? Bike shop -oh $45 for the RWC and $100.00 to take mufflers off put the stockers on and then take 'em off again and put the Termignoni's on again.......

Mate says violent5 I 'll pick the bike up and get my RWC somewhere else!!!!

Thats some customer service for youse!!! :cussing
